Project 6 – Unique Media Setup
Room space is often at a premium and rarely a ‘perfect’ shape.
Faced with a conservatory that doubled up as a playroom; circular in shape and with limited wall space, our clients wish was to incorporate both a 42” plasma and a 20” LCD.
After considered planning, the team utilised the main structural column (as seen), integrating the 42” plasma in to the column facing in to the conservatory/playroom and the 20” LCD providing viewing from the kitchen on the opposite side.
Infrared controls allowed all the devices to be housed out of sight in a custom made cabinet. Speakers were then installed in to the column, maintaining a minimal look with maximum impact.
Space, cooling and aesthetics were all considerations when taking in to account this build requiring a fully integrated system with full functionality.
